Ri...You hit on the two areas that we're looking at! Right now it seems as though we're leaning towards NM...I don't know...something about it. I guess from researching online, looking at the culture, etc...it seems to have a culture and spirit all its own...if that makes any sense. Plus the cost of living in Albuquerque is lower than the US average and housing is unbelievably cheap for such a large city. Those are definite pluses for our working class family. We were just out in AZ a couple weeks ago visiting Ryan's family and I totally understand why people live there.
